Our club thrives thanks to the dedication of our committees and volunteers. Each committee plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of Curl Bridgewater.
Provide direction of bartender staff, gather product requests from membership, schedule volunteer bartenders to support paid staff, seek additional volunteers
Ensure membership are informed of the various goings on at the club, promote events, general communications to membership. Website, Facebook, email and other social media platforms are available.

Oversee club finances, budgeting, financial reporting and provide financial guidance to the board
Research and apply for grants available to the club, manage grant applications and reporting requirements
Create and maintain the safety binder. Periodic assessment of physical club space to ensure compliance with safety mandate. Review safety incidents and recommend to the Board changes to increase safety for our membership.
Make up posters, create draws, manage evening team play, manage club championships
General maintenance of the club. Organize and plan ongoing maintenance, call for volunteers for specific larger projects. Liaise with tradespersons as required. Typical items: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, small appliance repair
Ice preparation for draws, organize, train and schedule volunteers for ice maintenance, support Ice Technician as required. Volunteers help prep the ice.
organize, plan, coach junior members. Organize and plan junior play at other clubs including bonspiels.
Manage membership registration process, maintain member records, handle membership inquiries and facilitate new member orientation
Point of contract for individuals or groups seeking to use the facility for curling or non-curling events. Contract management is required. Point of contract for Flourish 55+
Plan and manage a Learn to Curl Program, focused on safety, fun, and the basics of curling. Acquire and schedule on ice trainers. Prep materials and communicate to trainers and participants. Promote and Advertise. Help to transition Learn to Curl graduates into the general membership
Actively seek new sponsors and manage relationship with existing sponsors. Seek support from sponsors for events as appropriate. Also work with Board on potential grant applications for the club.
